Terms & Conditions – eCommerce Website Design & Development

Overview

Project Scope & Requirements
All website development projects begin with a clear scope of work. Any additional features or major changes requested after approval may be chargeable and require an updated timeline.

Payment Terms
Clients are required to pay a minimum of 50% advance before project initiation. The remaining amount must be paid upon project delivery or as per the milestone agreement. No refund will be provided once the development process has started.

Content & Assets
All necessary content (text, images, product info, logos) must be provided by the client before the project begins. Any delays in receiving content may result in extended delivery timelines.

Timeline & Delivery
Estimated project completion time will be shared during onboarding. Timely delivery depends on mutual coordination. Friction Tech World is not responsible for delays caused by third-party services, client hold-ups, or incomplete information.

Revisions & Modifications
Up to 2 rounds of minor design revisions are included. Major changes beyond the agreed scope will be billed separately at an hourly or module-wise rate.

Third-Party Services
Any paid third-party plugins, themes, or services (e.g., Shopify Apps, APIs, hosting, domain) are not included in the package and must be purchased by the client.

Ownership & Handover
Upon full payment, the client owns the website and its content. We provide necessary access credentials after final delivery. Source code for custom builds (Laravel, PHP, React, Node.js) is provided if included in the agreement.

Support & Maintenance
A free support period of 15 days is provided post-delivery for minor bug fixes. Ongoing maintenance and technical support can be availed on a monthly or hourly plan.

Confidentiality
All project-related information, data, and credentials shared by the client will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of service delivery.

Legal Compliance
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all content and products on their eCommerce website comply with applicable laws and platform guidelines.
